Where I’m Suppose To Be

light sea people woman
She left quotes in recorded monologues
and with each breath
I inhaled these things
lines that went straight to my brain
subconscious high that had me
hanging out with a star on Earth
multiply these verses
so we can play their parts
through different scenarios
cameo appearances on a timeline
finding ways to spark opportunities
between you and me
that’s space to embrace
a little something like a cuddle
which might be, a bit much
but not enough to stop these thoughts
these vibes I rode in on
to a song coming from your lips
soothing my ears
and it appears I am
where I’m supposed to be,
enjoying the present moment
of you.
